Westland Meadows Apartments, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, was acquired by ACD in 2007, and in 2008 a major rehabilitation of the project was completed with the assistance of an award of LIHTCs through the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, and an award of a $100,000 grant through Enterprise for meeting the criteria of their Green Communities program.  The award pictured below was presented to Westland Meadows Apartments and American Community Developers, Inc. by Enterprise and its Michigan affiliate Great Lakes Capital Fund at the Westland Meadows Apartments grand opening on October 16th, 2008.
